Main purpose of HPS
In the building materials industry, it is mainly used in putty powder, mortar, tile adhesive, gypsum and other products for interior and exterior walls. It plays the roles of lubrication, anti-sag, thickening, etc., increases the construction performance of products, and can reduce the usage of HPMC.
In the food industry, it is used as a thickener, suspending agent and binder.
Performance characteristics of HPS:
1. It has very good fast thickening ability and high water retention.
2. The dosage is small, very low dosage can achieve good effect.
3. It can be used in conjunction with hydroxypropyl methylcellulose (HPMC) to reduce the amount of cellulose ether used.
4. Effectively improve the anti-sagging ability of mortar, tile adhesive and other products, so that the material will not slide down when smearing or pasting other materials.
