Tile adhesive is characterized by high bonding strength, water resistance, freeze-thaw resistance, and aging resistance.

What should you pay attention to when using tile adhesive:

1. The base must be clean. The surface of the wall or floor that is in direct contact with the tile adhesive needs to be cleaned of dust, oil stains and other substances to avoid affecting the effect of the tile adhesive.

2. The coating must be even. If the thickness and construction of the tile adhesive are uneven, the corners of the pavement may become warped and the tiles may become hollow.

3. Tile glue cannot be soaked in water, and the tiles to be laid do not need to be soaked in water. For some tiles with low water absorption capacity, it is not easy to absorb water when soaked in water, so the tiles can be laid directly with tile glue.

4. Failure to use up the tile adhesive within the specified time. The mixed tile adhesive should be used up within two hours, and the dried tile adhesive cannot be used again.

5. Do not add water. Tile adhesive is a compound polymer of multiple substances. It cannot be used with added water, which may easily affect the construction effect.

6. Do not use a shovel to stir tile glue. When stirring tile adhesive with a shovel, the proportion of water added is difficult to control. Moreover, if the tile adhesive is stirred on the ground, it is easy for the tile adhesive to react with substances on the ground, reducing the bonding ability of the tile adhesive.

7. The painting area should not be too large. Control it within one square meter, so that the tile adhesive will dry before it is too late to install the paving.

8. Ceramic tile adhesive cannot add substances such as cement and sand. Tile adhesive itself is a combination of various high-quality cement, quartz sand and polymer products. If other substances are added to the tile adhesive, its quality will be affected, the construction effect will not be guaranteed, and safety hazards will easily occur after the tiles are laid.

Here are some ways to use tile adhesive:

1. Traditional dot-sticking method

For pasting on ceramic tiles, you can use the more traditional and simple dot pasting method. Apply the mixed glue to the back of the tiles and then attach it to the substrate.

2. Scraper method

First consider the flatness of the work surface and the unevenness of the back of the tile. If the gap on the back of the tile is relatively deep or the stone or tile is very large and heavy, it is necessary to apply glue on both sides at the same time.

3. Gluing method

First use a toothed scraper to apply the tile adhesive to the work surface so that it is evenly distributed and forms a tooth shape. Determine the amount of glue applied according to the actual situation. The amount applied each time is about one square meter. Finally, during the drying time, press the tiles on the working surface.
